The Field Engineer 1 role is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the execution and optimization of fracturing operations at the well site, providing technical support to the field team, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Assists in the setup, monitoring, and execution of fracturing operations at the well site

Collaborates with field personnel to ensure proper functioning of equipment and adherence to safety protocols

Monitors and records operational parameters, ensuring alignment with job design and client specifications

Gathers and analyzes real-time data during fracturing operations, including pressure, flow rates, and chemical usage

Utilizes specialized software to model fracturing processes and optimize job performance

Provides recommendations based on data analysis to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness

Assists in the maintenance and troubleshooting of fracturing equipment, including pumps, blenders, and data acquisition systems

Ensures that all equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly before operations commence

Coordinates with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance

Adheres to all company and client HSE policies and procedures

Participates in safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments

Reports any incidents, near misses, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately

Interfaces with clients at the well site, providing updates on job progress and addressing any concerns

Prepares and presents post-job reports, highlighting key performance metrics and recommendations for future operations

Stays updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in hydraulic fracturing

Attends training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills
