Responsibilities

Perform various tasks including using hand tools to assemble fabricated parts at floor stations, perform basic operations on standard manufacturing machinery, and product packaging
Test and calibrate assembled mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
Adhere to the calibration schedule for all tools used by the team
Be aware of all Quality requirements
Follow the Work Instructions and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines
Identify any documentation errors and bring to the attention of the Line Leader (i.e. Bills of Material, Quality documents, Work Instructions)
Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Required

Must be friendly, a team player, detail-oriented, and honest
Must have the ability to safely operate heavy equipment that is known to interfere with Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators and other electrical medical implants
Must have the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
Must have the ability to be cross-trained for multiple jobs within assigned work area(s)
Must have the ability to work under general supervision and direction from leadership team
Must have the ability to safely use hand tools and standard power tools
Must have the ability to operate machines safely with minimal supervision
Must have the ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Must have the ability to use a hydraulic lift, hand tools, standard power tools, measuring tools, small table lifting device and electronic testing equipment
Must have the ability to read and comprehend work instructions
Must have the ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs
Must have the ability to stand/bend/kneel
Must have a relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
Must have a willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future

Preferred

At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment using hand or power tools to assemble parts or product preferred
At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating machinery preferred
Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
High School Diploma or GED preferred
