Responsibilities
Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Planning (treatment studies, process/hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, permitting and site planning)
Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Design (process design, process / mechanical design, process and equipment selection, sizing, layout of equipment, chemical feed systems)
Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Construction (bidding assistance to the client, construction administration around submittal reviews, responses to technical RFI’s and engineering site inspections)
Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Funding & Permits (assist in preparing applications, respond to review comments, perform closeout assignments)
Perform condition assessments, basis of design studies
Qualification
Required
B.S. in chemical, civil, environmental or mechanical engineering
Engineer-In-Training/FE
5+ years of civil engineering design experience required with a focus on water wastewater treatment facilities design or related experience
Previous experience in writing basis of design reports, preparing process mechanical drawings for water and wastewater facilities, preparing engineering estimates of construction costs and technical specifications
Strong AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) skills
Ability and motivation to obtain Professional Engineering license within one (1) year of required
Candidates must possess excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills
Preferred
SewerGEMS /WaterGEMS/ Process treatment modeling (Biowin) preferred
Membership in AWWA, ASCE and or Water Environment Federation or desire to participate preferred
