The Quality Engineer plays a key role in ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction by coordinating quality assurance activities, conducting audits, and supporting product launches.

Responsibilities
Coordinate directly with customers and manage the assigned customer deck, providing cradle-to-grave ownership of quality activities
Perform product and process audits; provide audit direction, monitoring, reporting, and problem-solving support across all functions
Establish and maintain part quality standards by collaborating with customer and new product teams. Create boundary samples, visual aids, and supporting documentation for part acceptability
Support program launches and APQP deliverables to ensure readiness, capability, and compliance
Lead or participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action development (8D, fishbone, 5-Why, etc.)
Develop, recommend, and implement quality improvements and process changes
Manage Safe Launch activities, including preparation and distribution of daily Safe Launch/Hold reports to management
Participate in customer and internal audits; assist in follow-up actions and documentation
Support inspection activities, measurement system analysis (MSA), capability studies, and other quality tools as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field or equivalent experience
Prior quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or auditing experience
Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Core Tools
Experience with problem-solving methodologies and corrective action processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to interface professionally with customers
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and measurement data
Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements
