Pigott is a MillerKnoll dealership serving clients across Iowa and South Dakota, and they are seeking a Commercial Furniture Lead Installer. In this role, you will lead an installation crew, manage projects for various clients, and ensure high standards of quality and teamwork are met.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor an installation crew, setting the tone for teamwork and accountability

Manage installation of MillerKnoll and other commercial furniture product lines

Review drawings/blueprints and ensure installs meet project standards

Troubleshoot issues on site and keep projects moving smoothly

Communicate daily with the project team, clients, and contractors in a professional, solutions-focused way

Train newer installers in Pigott's standards and help build their skills

Take ownership of job readiness, site preparation, and follow-through to client sign-off

Qualification

Crew leadershipBlueprint interpretationPower tools proficiencyProject managementCommunication

Required

Experience leading crews in installation, construction, carpentry, or a related field

Hands-on skills with power tools, product assembly, and safe material handling

Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, or blueprints

Strong communication and leadership-able to direct a team and keep projects on track

High school diploma or GED (minimum); 2-3 years of related installation experience preferred

Willingness to work in a physical, fast-moving environment (lifting up to 64 lbs, bending, kneeling, etc.)
