Architecture & Planning
Responsibilities
Collaborates on project design, prepares presentations, and executes design documentation
Has a passion for finding creative solutions which align with our client’s goals
Leads and learns from others at all levels of experience and within various roles
Leads team, consultant, and owner meetings
Supports the Project Manager in planning project milestones and goals
Collaborates and leads project team to find best design and detail solutions
Seeks to achieve superior quality of project design and documentation
Actively mentors junior staff
Qualification
Required
NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture
7-12 years of professional experience (licensed professionals preferred)
Independent & resourceful approach to providing creative design direction and team leadership
Strong design and graphic skills
Sound working knowledge of building codes, zoning, and DRB materials
Adept at implementing relevant and sound building science, technology, and constructability, from concept into quality construction documents
Proficient in developing high-quality visualizations, such as renderings and animations
Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects), Excel, Smartsheet or similar Project Management software
Preferred
Licensed professionals preferred
Passion for sustainable design solutions (sustainable certification(s) programs and software experience preferred)
Hand-drawing and sketching skills preferred
