Responsibilities

Would be expected to provide the following to others on the design team to effectively and successfully complete projects:

Technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work involving electrical engineering

Technical training and development of staff

Establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications for electrical discipline area

Engineer of Record

Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates

Coordination with all of the disciplines involved, including outside consultants

Technical interface with code officials and contractors

Required

Accomplished electrical engineer/PE with 7 + years of progressive technical experience in the design of power distribution, multiple generator powerhouses, multi-building medium voltage campus distribution, fault studies, selective overcurrent coordination studies, load flow studies, arc flash studies, lighting, life safety, and telecommunications systems on healthcare and commercial projects

Experience should include management of multiple projects with proven success providing technical oversight on projects that meet contract specifications and technical standards to the client on time and within budget

Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills

Well organized, takes good notes
