Responsibilities
Taking an active part in the design, development, integration, and testing of site projects
Providing engineering support for technical problems and recommending a course of action
Assisting senior engineers on complex problems, as assigned
Reporting individual and group project status
Developing and presenting a summer capstone project to division leadership
May work across multiple programs in both a team environment and independently to perform their assigned tasks
Qualification
Required
Searching for students majoring in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related engineering discipline
Minimum of 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)
Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
Interpersonal skills that augment performance within a team environment
Professional communication skills to include interaction with engineering team members and management in informal and formal settings
U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level
Preferred
MatLab, Python, or C/C++ experience
Experience in reviewing and evaluating design calculations and data from an engineering perspective
Must be able to read design/construction drawings and be able to understand design narratives and calculations
Technical writing skills to be applied in preparing manuals, parts lists, proposals and design documentation
