CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST (BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONSULTANT)
Defense Health Agency is responsible for providing world-class healthcare to military personnel and their families. The Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health Consultant) will conduct biopsychosocial evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment while collaborating with primary care providers to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities
Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions
Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches
Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care
Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic
Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology
A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction
One year of specialized experience which includes conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team
