Director of Sales
Undisclosed company is seeking a Director of Sales to lead revenue growth by building pipeline, closing strategic deals, and developing a high-performing sales team. This role focuses on owning sales strategy, team performance, and revenue predictability while collaborating with various departments to improve conversion and growth.

Responsibilities
Own sales targets, pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and quota attainment
Establish sales process, deal stages, qualification criteria, and coaching cadence
Drive deal strategy for mid-market/enterprise opportunities as applicable
Hire, onboard, coach, and performance-manage AEs/BDRs/AMs
Implement enablement programs: discovery, demos, objection handling, negotiation
Build a culture of accountability, learning, and consistent execution
Partner with Marketing on ICP, messaging, campaign alignment, and lead conversion
Collaborate with RevOps to improve CRM hygiene, reporting, and territory planning
Provide customer insights to Product for roadmap and packaging improvements
Lead key customer relationships and executive stakeholder management
Ensure strong handoffs to Customer Success and improve retention/expansion motions
Qualification
Required
8–12 years in B2B sales with 3+ years in sales leadership
Proven track record consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets
Strong experience in consultative, value-based selling
CRM expertise (Salesforce/HubSpot), forecasting, pipeline analytics
Ability to build playbooks, cadences, and repeatable sales motions
Strong coach and motivator with high accountability
Analytical and process-oriented
Excellent communicator with executive presence

Experience selling SaaS/AI products to mid-market or enterprise buyers
Experience building sales teams from early stage to scale
