Coordinator Physical Therapy Admissions - Physical Therapy

The Coordinator of Physical Therapy Admissions is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the School of Physical Therapy, managing the application process, and providing support services for students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities
Administers, manages, and oversees the CAS for the College of Health Sciences
Manages the CHS programs with primary focus on PT and OT
Acts as the Webadmit Administrator for the School of Physical Therapy
Serves as front-line support for applicants in the admissions process
Coordinates application review process with faculty and appropriate program administrators
Monitors application process
Collects data, maintains database, and prepares reports for Dean’s office staff in alignment with college and university processes
Trains reviewers in the application process and conducts training sessions, lead trainer
Supports and coordinates College programs’ involvement with Pioneer Preview Days, Graduate Fairs, and other university related events
Assists with summer and transfer orientations as needed
Sets up supplemental scoring systems for application reviews as needed
Performs other duties as requested
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
Two years' experience in admissions and application processing
Knowledge of TWU admissions and application processes
Knowledge of the physical therapy curriculum and support services in the college
Ability to develop and maintain databases, reports, and processes
Ability to represent the College of Health Sciences and the School of Physical Therapy in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
Ability to multi-task, develop and produce project data and special reports
Ability to coordinate work with other employees and provide direct instruction or supervision as assigned
Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgement based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the public
Ability to communicate effectively, by phone, in person, and in writing
Ability to represent the department and University in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
Working knowledge of office practices and methods
Ability to use a personal computer and other office equipment, including university related software and email
Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position
