Create and deliver the large animal medicine curriculum in the team-taught systems-based courses in the curriculum
Develop assessment strategies in alignment with the overall competency-based curriculum
Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure integration of knowledge and skills across years and courses
Actively and effectively engage in student-centered instruction, coaching, and mentorship
Collaborate closely with the Clemson University Ambulatory practice
Serve on PCVM and campus committees as appointed or elected
Participate in research and scholarship initiatives designed to improve educational and professional outcomes
Qualification
Required
DVM, PhD or equivalent
Board certification or residency training in a veterinary specialty recognized by the ABVS (ACVIM, ABVP, etc.)
Preferred
3 plus years of relevant experience in veterinary medicine or education
