Assistant Director, Property Management and Lease Administration
Peters Development, LLC is a full-service commercial real estate development, investment, and management firm headquartered in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. They are seeking a hands-on, proactive Assistant Director, Property Management and Lease Administration to oversee daily operations and long-term performance across a portfolio of commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilities
Property Management across commercial and residential assets
Tenant relations, lease administration, and compliance oversight
Budgeting, rent roll management, and expense tracking
Vendor Coordination and maintenance scheduling as needed
Supporting software implementation (AppFolio, SOPs, reporting)
Lease administrator handling:
Annual rent increases
HVAC and service contracts
Tenant insurance compliance
TICAM and expense allocations
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience (3-5 years preferred) in commercial or mixed-use property management; experience with medical and retail tenants strongly preferred
Demonstrated success managing multi-asset portfolios (commercial, residential, or mixed-use)
Excellent communication, organization, and tenant-relations skills
Self-starter who thrives in a small-team, fast-paced environment
Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret leases, budgets, and P&L statements
Familiar with standards and protocols of Fair Housing Laws
Must be available for periodic after-hours or weekend response to property issues
Preferred
Experience with property management software (e.g., LoopNet, DoorLoop, AppFolio, or Yardi)
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field
North Carolina Real Estate License (preferred) or willingness to obtain
