The Payroll & Billing Specialist will perform payroll and billing functions, including tracking accounts receivable and working with multiple payor sources while ensuring effective communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

Performs weekly payroll activities, including, but not limited to tracking invoices, verifying shifts/visits, calculating mileage and pay, making appropriate deductions, auditing and processing weekly payroll

Complies with all federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding the payroll function using appropriate accounting standards

Provides management with needed payroll reports

Generates billing information from the system and sends to appropriate party

Provides reports and information to management on billing activities, as needed

Performs other assignments as requested and assigned

May have access to personal health information (“PHI”) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department
