They are seeking an experienced CPA to step into a senior leadership role managing staff, client relationships, and firm operations to guide the firm into its next generation of growth and innovation.

Senior Management

Responsibilities

Managing client relationships and serving as a trusted business advisor

Leadership and oversight of the tax, accounting and consulting services provided by the firm

Review of returns; 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 709, 1041 and 990PF

Preparation of a handful of complex tax returns

Be the “go-to” resident expert on complex tax matters, client re-organizations, mergers/acquisitions and entity sales

Familiarity with Partnerships and closely held businesses from the standpoint of being able to interpret agreements and contracts as they pertain to accounting and tax matters

Industry familiarity; Professional & Personal Service industries, Medical Professionals, Restaurants, and Retail

Understanding of Sales Tax concepts, laws and reporting

Tax projection and planning expertise, leading the firm’s team with planning strategies

Significant background related to multi-state tax filings and nexus concepts and allocations

Guiding the firm’s evolution by developing efficient, technology-driven processes

Mentoring and managing a small, talented professional staff

Overseeing new client onboarding ensuring service excellence

Contributing to firm strategy, growth initiatives, and succession planning

Participating in professional development and networking to strengthen the firm’s presence

Qualification

Required

Active CPA license

7–10 years of progressive public accounting experience with deep tax expertise

5+ years of management experience, including staff leadership and client relationship management

Strong understanding of small business accounting and tax planning

Proficiency with UltraTax and QuickBooks Online

Excellent communication and client advisory skills

Comfort with technology, automation, and process improvement tools

Public Accounting: 10 years
