Responsibilities
Perform quality control tests and inspections during the production process, including pH, specific gravity, viscosity, and sensory testing
Record and maintain data such as lot numbers, test results, and physical observations accurately
Calibrate equipment and maintain detailed calibration records
Conduct line clearances to verify removal of previous products and materials before new production runs
Perform first article, first pallet, and random sampling inspections on finished goods
Stop production lines when major non-conformances are identified; report findings to QC management
Inspect and verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness
Review and approve labels and batch documentation for accuracy
Collect retain samples and manage retain sample documentation
Maintain temperature and moisture monitoring logs and daily QC reports
Follow SOPs and cGMP procedures, supporting continuous improvement and compliance initiatives
Perform additional quality-related tasks as assigned by the QC Manager or Senior QC Specialist
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or coursework in science preferred
1–2 years of experience in a quality control, laboratory, or manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of GMP and manufacturing safety standards
Strong math and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented production environment
Preferred
associate degree or coursework in science
