Vista Equity Partners is a leading investment firm that invests in enterprise software businesses. They are seeking Summer Analysts to gain hands-on experience in private equity investing, including valuation, due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio value creation.

Responsibilities

Conduct due diligence and support deal execution: Work with deal teams to evaluate potential investment opportunities through industry research, data analysis and review of financial and business information, as well as support the execution of live transactions
Engage in portfolio company management: Assist in reporting, oversight and operations of existing portfolio companies while helping implement Vista’s best practices (e.g., organizational structure optimization, sales execution, financial valuations, etc.)
Contribute to firm operations and strategy: Support cross-departmental strategic initiatives and capital raising efforts; research and identify new investing opportunities to help refine Vista’s software investing aperture

Required

Enrollment in an undergraduate program, graduating between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028

Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivation and a high degree of initiative
Exceptional work ethic and a deep sense of accountability
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Interest in financial markets and technology industry sectors and trends
