As an Engineering Intern, you will support operations by participating in projects within the engineering department, gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant, and managing a key project.

Responsibilities
Apply classroom lessons in a real-world setting
Learn about our products, processes, and functions
Support operations by participating in projects and activities organized by the engineering department
Work hands-on with equipment such as distillation columns, adsorption beds, diaphragm compressors, gas distribution panels, instrumentation, and programmable logic controllers
Manage an independent plant expansion or productivity project with final presentation
Perform engineering and project management work like creating designs in AutoCAD, sizing equipment, building parts lists, and maintaining a project schedule and budget
Collaborate with project managers, process engineers, operations, procurement, safety, and other business groups
Qualification
Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Integrative or Industrial Engineering
Ability to demonstrate past leadership in school, internship or sporting activities
Preferred
Hands-on experience through at least one, relevant, off-campus internship or co-op
