The Summer Intern in Quality Assurance will support the Quality department in maintaining and improving quality processes, while gaining hands-on experience in engineering and product development.

Responsibilities

Support the activities of the Quality department, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of the company's quality processes, systems and standards, with a focus on compliance, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction

Required

Degree in quality management, production engineering, mechanical engineering or related courses in progress

Reading and interpretation of mechanical drawings is required

Dimensional control is required (terminology, linear and angular units, rounding rules, characteristics of conventional measuring instruments, measurement methods, instrument selection, calibration system)

Intermediate Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Good communication, organization, and attention to detail

All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR

Preferred

Basic knowledge of quality tools (5W2H, PDCA, Ishikawa, etc.)
