Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel
Communicate with the public and staff in a professional manner while providing security-related assistance as needed
Document incidents, observations, and/or any security-related concerns according to company and location protocols
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure environment
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
Security Experience: 1+ years
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Access control or badge experience
Customer service experience
Comfortable using a computer or tablet
