Responsibilities
Lead the research and interpretation of complex accounting standards (US GAAP and other applicable frameworks)
Provide guidance on technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, leases, and acquisitions
Prepare and review technical memos and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Partner with finance and operational teams to ensure accurate application of accounting policies
Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors on technical issues
Monitor emerging accounting standards and assess their impact on the organization
Assist with special projects, including system implementations and process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or technical accounting roles
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
