Responsibilities
Lead and manage the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
Oversee GAAP-compliant accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Prepare and distribute financial statements and management reporting
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Partner with leadership on financial insights to drive profitability and growth
Manage audits and serve as primary contact for external auditors
Supervise and develop accounting staff, including Accounts Payable
Drive continuous improvement across accounting processes and controls
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
7+ years of progressive accounting or financial leadership experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
Proven leader with excellent communication and team management skills
Hands-on Division Controller who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred
CPA preferred
Manufacturing or industrial/steel industry experience strongly preferred
