Demonstrate accountability and reliability regarding attendance
Exhibit the ability to communicate when there are issues, concerns or questions
Validate the ability to assist children in grades K-8 on their school assignments
Demonstrate strong communication skills
Show evidence in the ability to multitask independently in a small group setting with youth
Indicate the ability work within a team and take direction from a supervisor
Exhibit the ability to differentiate instructional techniques to meet the needs of the youth where they are
Maintain satisfactory academic progress
Adhere to college’s confidentiality policy
Successfully pass background/drug screening
Successfully complete In2vate Online Training
Experience working with children
Make at least a 2 semester commitment to the program
Demonstrate willingness and ability to work with the community

Demonstrate willingness and ability to work with the community
Positions are located at Cuyahoga County Public Libraries located throughout the county
