Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the tax compliance process for a diverse portfolio of clients
Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize clients' tax positions
Review and approve federal and state tax returns prepared by staff accountants
Manage and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and provide strategic advice to clients
Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax planning and compliance matters
Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive services to clients

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree in Taxation preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
Proven experience as a Tax Manager or Supervisor in a CPA firm environment
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly in the healthcare sector is a plus
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Master's degree in Taxation
