Responsibilities
Maintain a safe, therapeutic group environment and support the day-to-day care and well-being of clients
Provide informal counseling, socialization support, and behavioral guidance using techniques such as reality therapy and positive reinforcement
Facilitate and participate in group activities, accompany clients to NA/AA meetings and community outings, and provide transportation
Assist in life-skills development to promote progress in clients' recovery journey
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
CPR and first aid certifications
1 year of experience with mental health population OR AAS in Human Services program
Maintain valid state appropriate driver's license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
