Golden Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a River Rock Host Person to maintain the reservation book and provide excellent guest service. The role involves greeting guests, managing reservations, and assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and flow of the venue.

Responsibilities

Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and team members

Answer the telephone with in 3 rings to be able to book reservations

Maintain the reservation book with guest name, phone number, time and amount of guest in each party

Maintain the professional appearance of the hostess stand

Properly present clean menus to our guests

Properly Clean, Disinfect and Inspect all menus, discarding worn ones

Monitor the waiting line to determine if there are large parties waiting

Supply guests with information on services available at the Hotel/Casino, including all our restaurants

Handle initial guest complaints. Inform Manager immediately of any problems or concerns

Ensure that all tables are properly set at the start of each shift

Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Must be at least 18 years of age

Excellent communication skills

Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well-groomed manner

Superior guest service skills

Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with guests and team members

Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English

Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies & procedures

Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

Verify right to work in the United States

Health Card

Walking and standing most of shift

Vision, speech, literacy and hearing (critical)

Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 lbs

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Proven experience in a full service restaurant preferred
