Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or law enforcement as required
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as needed
Support emergency response activities and assist with evacuation procedures when appropriate
Qualification
Required
This is primarily a driving post
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
