PERSONAL LINES CSR

BayCoast Bank is looking for a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join their Quick Assistance Team. In this role, you will be the first voice clients hear, handling incoming calls and requests to ensure smooth agency operations.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and/or walk-ins to the agency
Quickly identify why the customer is calling (or is at the office)
Either handle the request or transfer the right person
All incoming calls
Binder requests
Payment and billing questions
Mortgagee changes
Dealership phone calls and insurance verifications
Late fee questions
Cancellations for non-payment and reinstatements
ID Cards, document requests, and other quick-turn service items
Accurate documentation of every call and transaction in our agency system

Qualification

Communication skillsMultitaskingComputer systems proficiencyJudgementPrior insurance experienceBilingual Spanish/Portuguese

Required

Strong communication skills (especially on the phone)
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
Good judgement – knowing when to resolve a call and when to escalate
Comfort using computer systems and learning new software

Preferred

Prior insurance experience is a plus
Bilingual: Spanish/Portuguese a plus
