Responsibilities

Install residential HVAC, including furnaces, central air conditioners, air cleaners, humidifiers, duct work, etc

Provide a high level of customer care, striving for complete satisfaction

Provide direct supervision and oversight of Apprentice HVAC when assigned to work together

Work safely, ensuring all safety practices, procedures, and rules are followed

Keep accurate records, including work completed, time spent, inventory, etc

Prepare, present, and sell accurate quotations and cost estimates

Maintain a clean and organized work site, including the customer's home and your work vehicle

Deliver and/or installation of appliances if assigned - this allows for full-time hours during slower seasons

Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills

Able to operate a vehicle

High school diploma or GED

2-year technical degree in HVAC

4+ Years of residential HVAC experience

Extensive knowledge and understanding of code requirements

Physically fit, with the ability to climb ladders and work on roofs and attics

Ability to lift or maneuver up to 600 lbs with a dolly

Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background check, physical, and lifting test

Must successfully pass a 5-panel drug test plus THC testing

Minneapolis HVAC Journeyworker Competency Cards, Including: Journeyworker Warm Air/Ventilation, Journeyworker Fuel Gas Fitter, Journeyworker Refrigeration, EPA Certification, MN Power Limited Technician, Valid Driver's License
