Responsibilities

Provide L3/L4 production support for TIRKS in AT&T's carrier-grade environment
Maintain and manage circuit, trunk, and facility inventory records
Perform data audits, reconciliations, and cleanup to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
Support MACD activities (Move, Add, Change, Disconnect) for transport and backbone circuits
Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies impacting provisioning, billing, and service assurance
Support integration of TIRKS with AT&T OSS/BSS systems including:
Service Order Management (SOM)
Network Provisioning systems
Billing and Mediation platforms
Other inventory systems (Granite, Amdocs, Ericsson OSS, etc.)
Work in coexistence scenarios where TIRKS operates alongside modern OSS platforms
Support migration or data extraction initiatives from TIRKS to next-generation inventory systems
Work with AT&T network technologies including:
TDM, SONET/SDH
DWDM and Optical Transport
Ethernet, MPLS
IP Backbone networks
Interpret and manage CLLI codes, circuit layouts, routing, and facility assignments
Collaborate with Network Engineering, Provisioning, Field Operations, and NOC teams
Support and enhance TIRKS using:
Java
C / C++
UNIX/Linux shell scripting
Perform database analysis and support using Oracle / SQL
Assist with automation, reporting, and operational efficiency improvements

Required

Extensive hands-on experience with TIRKS OSS (non-negotiable)
Strong understanding of telecom transport and circuit inventory
Experience supporting Tier-1 telecom carrier OSS environments
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, SQL, and Oracle databases
Strong knowledge of telecom provisioning and service order workflows
Programming: Java, C, C++
Scripting: Shell scripting (Perl preferred)
Databases: Oracle
OSS/BSS integration experience

Preferred

Prior experience working with AT&T or AT&T vendors
Experience with Ericsson / Telcordia OSS
Exposure to Granite, Amdocs, Netcracker
Experience supporting OSS modernization or legacy system retirement
Understanding of telecom regulatory and audit requirements
