Responsibilities
Works closely with the Creative Director to develop innovative creative solutions for our customers
Requires limited guidance after initial kick off meeting when developing complex designs, considering materials, manufacturing capabilities, and budget limitations. Prepares files for prototypes, mock-ups, and cutting dies for production
Analyzes structural integrity to ensure that the display performs optimally in the field
Evaluates customer renderings and or CAD files and provides possible improvements in style, function and appearance
Maintains effective time-management on multiple projects
Mentors’ junior structural designers, providing technical expertise and guidance on design principles and best practices
Follows all guidelines and best practices regarding quality control procedures
Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety, organizational skills and maintaining good housekeeping
Performs other duties as assigned by the Creative Director
Rendering capabilities is a plus
Remains up to date and current on all industry trends involving Display and POP Creative and production and design software
Ensures that company policies, standards and procedures are met, followed and maintained in accordance with established company policy (e.g., OSHA and safety compliance, Federal/State/Local Laws)
Maintains confidentiality of financial information and other sensitive and confidential information
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Product Design or Packaging Design related field or equivalent work experience is required
10 years in relevant previous experience in Point of Purchase design role
Proficient in ArtiosCAD, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino 3D
