Procom is searching for an AI-Data Scientist - Senior for a contract role to optimize Schwab's API Portfolio by leveraging AI and Analytics. The role involves providing AI-grounded feedback to development teams and enhancing the categorization and classification of existing APIs.

Responsibilities

Perform data analysis using statistical techniques to interpret datasets, identify patterns, and predict outcomes

Translate complex software architecture problems into high-level AI and analytics solutions

Communicate findings through reports, charts, and data visualizations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Define and integrate key data sources to deliver predictive and generative AI models

Design, build, train, and validate predictive ML models and generative AI solutions using Python, R, and SQL

Develop custom pipelines for data ingestion, embedding generation, and indexing in vector databases

Focus on API and microservice architecture patterns, requiring knowledge of application architecture

Required

Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data preparation, querying, and model development

Experience with vector databases like Vertex AI Vector Search or Cloud SQL

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a rigorous problem-solving approach

Preferred

Experience working in matrixed or corporate environments

Excellent communication skills
