Accounts Payable Manager
Lapp USA Inc is a family-owned company and a global leader in cable and connection technology. The AP Manager is responsible for the processing and correct payment of vendor invoices, supervising the Accounts Payable staff, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company procedures.

Responsibilities
Supervise Accounts Payable staff which includes training, assigning and review of work
Work with receiver/purchase order procedures and identify cost savings opportunities for the company
GR/IR analysis, verification of three-way match for MM invoices in SAP. Coordinate with purchasing & receiving departments in resolving discrepancies and claims with suppliers
Enter and post invoices via Seeburger and prepare estimates of expenditures
Prepare estimates for accruals
Process all cash disbursements in a timely manner
Responsible for maintaining vendor relationships and file maintenance
Determines proper handling and approval of financial transactions within designated limits
Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles & IFRS and company procedures
Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
Expected to define, analyze and report KPI’s and metrics to evaluate success and inform decision making
Vendor master data creation, maintenance of proper documentation
SEEBURGER approve user onboarding, approved authorization matrix, template management for changes to GL classifications
Credit card usage compliance, reconciliation, gathering necessary approvals, payment processing
Reconciles statements from foreign and domestic vendors
Environmental reporting - electrical usage for quality department
Sales & use tax compliance
Cross-department coordination of insurance documentation, certificates of insurance requests
Responsible for W-9, 1099, and ST-3 Forms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of meaningful, related experience
Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to effectively present information to all levels of management and staff
Ability to work with mathematical concepts, financial ratios, and business equations
Possess strong analytical skills
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of web based software and web content management, SAP Database software, Excel, Word, and Power Point
