Laboratory Technologist (Part-Time)
Techcyte is building SaaS solutions for microscopy testing using artificial intelligence, and they are seeking a part-time Laboratory Technologist to support their lab operations. The role involves preparing and processing air quality samples, assisting engineering and product management, and ensuring optimal performance of laboratory equipment.
Computer Software
Responsibilities
Receive samples from clients and perform data entry tasks
Prepare biological samples onto microscope slides
Digitize microscope slides with various whole slide scanners
Configuring scanners and software to perform optimally
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail, especially with repetitive tasks
Good organization and record-keeping skills
Must be able to commute to the office in Orem, Utah
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be able to work collaboratively within a team and across disciplines
Experience working in a lab preferred (ie. safety, sample preparation, experience with light microscopes, etc.)
College lab experience is acceptable
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, as we are unable to sponsor or transfer Visas at this time
