Responsibilities

As part of the Cold Box Engineering and Field Services group you will be involved in multiple areas of design, fabrication, and field implementation at existing Air Separation Units

In this role, you will support the Cold Box Engineering team to develop and execute strategic construction plans, offering expert input on constructability and sequencing, and implementation of engineered solutions

This position collaborates closely with various departments to assist in commissioning, monitoring construction progress, perform quality assurance inspections, and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets

You will develop 3D piping models and prepare 2D Fabrication Drawings including Shop and Field Pressure Test, Bid / Construction packages, and Bill of Materials

You enjoy working with your hands to lead hands-on repairs, testing, and validation of piping systems in the plant

Required

Associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) Mechanical or Process Piping

Minimum of 10 years of experience in or any combination of piping design, construction management, commissioning, field supervision, QA/QC inspections

Demonstrated experience and mechanical aptitude/skills with construction drawings, basic hand tools, working knowledge of piping systems, cold box components, and working with contractors

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, 3D/2D AutoCAD

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Previous Field Construction Management experience is required in this role

Knowledge of design Codes and Standards, including ASME, ASTM, ANSI

Preferred

Cold Box experience highly desirable
