Peyote Bird Designs is seeking a Product Operations Manager to support their Director Leadership Team in bringing products to market through a structured and financially sound process. This role focuses on ensuring alignment between brand, product development, operations, and sales while promoting efficiency and growth across the organization.

Actively advocate for the PBD brand in all internal and external efforts

Partner with the Creative Director to create and distribute quarterly trend reports and key deadlines to American Artisans

Identify market opportunities and emerging trends; present insights to Design and the Leadership Team

Conduct market and competitive analysis across PBD lines and business units

Collaborate with the Creative Director to define go-to-market strategies for new open-line developments

Observe and understand existing workflows across departments to identify growth and efficiency opportunities

Collaborate with teams to improve handoffs, internal efficiencies, and scalable processes

Maintain a consistent focus on margin, profitability, and sustainable growth

Define priority initiatives, evaluate results, and help lead organizational adjustments as needed

Co-lead efforts to define and consistently represent the PBD brand across all promotional and operational touchpoints

Ensure brand alignment across product development, sales, and operations

Act as an internal champion for brand integrity and market positioning

Maintain and manage the design and development calendar in partnership with Design

Track all incoming and outgoing vendor developments (domestic & overseas)

Catalog all approved new designs with accurate documentation: Style number, vendor, cost, retail, images/samples

Prepare and document cost layouts for pricing sessions; maintain pricing records for future reference

Schedule pricing sessions and ensure no product remains unpriced longer than two weeks

Maintain American Artisan purchasing and pricing files, including invoices, production callouts, photos, and cost/retail records

Review Top 50 Vendor purchasing reports monthly and flag YOY/MOM shifts to the Creative Director

Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, samples, and production details

Support pricing negotiations and ensure updates are reflected across all internal systems and documentation

Serve as first point of contact for DDR inquiries related to new product development

Maintain strong understanding of PBD cost structure and margins; support competitive and profitable retail pricing decisions
