Part-Time Contract Recruiter

Responsibilities

Support the Cavender’s Culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values
Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating next steps
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and recruiting timelines
Post and maintain job openings on internal and external job boards
Source talent through various channels, including job boards, professional networks, social media, and outreach efforts
Conduct phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and alignment with company culture
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and interview panels
Maintain accurate and timely candidate notes and updates within the applicant tracking system
Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the process to ensure a positive experience
Represent the company and the brand in a stellar manner
Assist with offer preparation and pre-employment steps as needed
Support recruiting-related projects, hiring events, and seasonal volume needs
Perform other recruiting duties as assigned by the Talent Management team

Required

2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate setting
Experience managing full cycle recruiting processes
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple open roles and competing priorities
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential information
Ability to work independently while staying aligned with team goals

Preferred

Experience recruiting for retail, corporate, or operational roles
Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools
Comfortable interviewing candidates at various levels
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Adaptable and solutions-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
