Responsibilities
Partner closely with product, design, and stakeholders to define, build, and ship impactful features
Own feature development from architecture → API design → frontend (web & mobile)
Build high-quality, user-facing experiences across React (web) and React Native (mobile)
Make thoughtful tradeoffs—knowing when to iterate, refactor, or move on
Use data and feedback loops to continuously improve what you ship
Be a strong teammate on a pragmatic, high-trust engineering team
Qualification
Required
6+ years of strong experience with React and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with Next.js, React Native, and GraphQL
3+ years designing relational data models and APIs
Thoughtful problem solver: You enjoy getting to the root of complex problems
Builder's mindset: Comfortable with both 0→1 builds and iterative scaling
Pragmatic & business-aware: You prioritize impact and make smart tradeoffs
User-first: You think deeply about how your work affects real people
Clear communicator: You explain ideas well and collaborate effectively
Preferred
Experience with Django or Python-based frameworks
CS degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience in early-stage startups
Familiarity with Python, Django, SQL, Heroku, Vercel
Passion for modern frontend tooling and best practices
Comfortable using LLMs to improve development velocity
Exposure to retail, gig-economy platforms, or marketplace products
