Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of the closing process with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys
Prepare and review closing documents, including Closing Disclosure, ALTA Settlement Statement, deeds, and title policies. Closer must be proficient with SoftPro Select
Ability to understand title issues and collaborate with attorneys for title clearance
Schedule and process fundings, ensuring all conditions are met prior to funding
Communicate effectively with all parties to ensure a smooth transaction
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in residential real estate closings (Georgia experience preferred)
Knowledge of Georgia closing laws and attorney-supervised closing requirements
Proficiency in SoftPro Select
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Notary Public certification
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Overall good attitude and willingness to adapt to change
Must possess good organizational skills
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
Balances team and individual responsibilities
Contributes to building a positive team spirit
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
Looks for ways to improve and promote quality
Must be very analytical and have excellent problem solving skills
Preferred
Fee Requests/Approvals with billing experience in a law firm that has a high transaction volume
Proficiency with excel and other Microsoft products
BKFS, Vendorscape, SSE Portal and TEMPO experience
Proficiency in Judicial foreclose process
