Senior LevelFLOFORM Countertops is seeking an experienced and highly reliable Senior Accountant to support their contract accounting function. This role focuses on percentage-of-completion accounting, progress billings, and maintaining accurate project financial records.

Responsibilities
Perform contract accounting using the percentage-of-completion (POC) method
Set up and maintain customer and project contracts in the accounting system
Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and approvals
Prepare and submit progress billings in accordance with contract terms
Compile and manage required billing support, including:
Schedules of Values (SOVs)
Lien waivers and lien-related documentation
Other contract-required supporting documents
Reconcile job costs, billings, and revenue recognition
Maintain organized, audit-ready accounting records
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or cost discrepancies
Assist with month-end close activities related to contract accounting
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with contract accounting, specifically the POC method
Strong understanding of job cost accounting and progress billing
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP) accounting software a must
Preferred
Accounting degree or equivalent professional experience
Background in construction, manufacturing, or project-based accounting environments
Familiarity with lien laws and compliance documentation
