Responsibilities
Lead sourcing initiatives across Clinical Operations and R&D categories
Manage RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and onboarding activities
Analyze spend data to identify cost optimization and value creation opportunities
Develop and execute category-level sourcing strategies
Partner with cross-functional teams to align sourcing activities with business needs
Manage supplier performance through SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
7+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing
Proven expertise in category management, cost modeling, and negotiations
Experience sourcing indirect or services-based categories
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
Demonstrated business and financial acumen
Preferred
Master's degree or MBA preferred
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environments is strongly preferred
Professional procurement certifications (CPSM or CPM) are a plus
