New Grad, Entry LevelHR Butler LLC is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their Finance Team. The role involves ensuring accurate transaction processing, financial documentation, and reconciliations while supporting various departments to maintain seamless financial operations.

Responsibilities
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure smooth financial operations
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, contributing to informed decision making
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are properly documented
Conduct financial analysis and research to support leadership in strategic planning
Participate in audits and financial reviews, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
Perform other related duties to support the Finance Department's success
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting
A keen eye for accuracy and the ability to maintain organized financial records
Clear and professional oral/written communication skills for cross-departmental coordination
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to follow established accounting procedures while looking for opportunities to enhance efficiency
Ability to review financial data, identify discrepancies, and contribute to problem solving
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or comparable combination of experience and education strongly preferred
Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus but not required
