Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, board reports and various other financial reports
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
Provide insights and recommendations to support management decisions
Develop and manage the budget, ensuring alignment with company objectives
Create financial forecasts and analyze variances
Monitor performance against budget and provide regular updates
Oversee all accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
Maintain internal controls and ensure the security of company assets
Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations
Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support
Evaluate performance and provide feedback
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Qualification
Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA)
Extensive experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices
