Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and support controls systems which include pneumatics, servos, VFD’s, relays, communication networks, touchscreens, pushbuttons and robotic integration
Perform SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) development and design systems
Perform PLC and HMI programming (ex. RS Logix 500/5000, Studio 5000, etc.), commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting on machines, production lines, conveyor systems, etc
Support and pursue additional business opportunities with new and existing customers
Integrate various instrumentation such as pressure sensors, load cells, flow meters, etc
Work safely in proximity to a variety of voltages such as 24VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC, single phase and 3-phase
Interpret electrical drawings and documentation for custom machines, systems, and products
Configure controls components such as VFDs, servo drives, machine vision systems, robot controllers, field IO racks, etc
Qualification
Required
Experience with Rockwell PLC and HMI programming is required
Ability to independently troubleshoot and program SCADA, PLC, and HMI
Valid driver's license required
Preferred
6+ years' relevant programming and automation/controls work experience preferred
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics and Robotics preferred
Preference given to applicants with relevant PLC/Programming training or certifications
