Responsibilities
Lead and execute sample management workflows, including sample check-in, storage, retrieval, aliquoting, plate normalization, and shipment coordination
Manage biologics inventories including antibodies, proteins, bio-conjugates, libraries, plasmids, and cell samples
Operate, program, and troubleshoot automation systems and liquid handling instruments (Echo, Bravo, Biomek, i7, etc.)
Collaborate closely with R&D teams, CROs, and external partners to support hit-to-lead screening and profiling efforts
Maintain complete and accurate documentation using electronic lab notebooks (ELNs) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
Contribute to process improvements, protocol optimization, and workflow efficiency initiatives
Ensure adherence to data integrity, quality standards, and sample traceability
Support technology evaluations, automation integration, and procedural enhancements to streamline sample logistics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related discipline
Minimum of 4+ years of relevant industry experience in sample management, compound logistics, or biologics handling within a research or pharmaceutical setting
Advanced proficiency in liquid handling and automation systems (Echo, Bravo, Biomek, i7, etc.)
Experience using inventory management tools and databases
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and optimize workflow operations
Preferred
Experience with automation troubleshooting and workflow optimization
Familiarity with biologics sample management and sterile technique
Strong understanding of data integrity principles and sample tracking systems
