They are seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to help build and scale how data is used across various client engagements, leading analytic workstreams and collaborating with consulting teams to provide actionable insights in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

Lead analytics delivery on client engagements by building new and reusable tools using proprietary, public, and client-specific datasets

Investigate and understand the healthcare services market and related data through independent research, review of company financial information, and industry literature

Translate ambiguous client questions into clear analyses with actionable and defensible insights

Design, develop, and manage dashboards on Marwood’s internal self-service analytics platform for key internal stakeholders

Help strengthen data operations by improving internal processes related to data management, quality control, and documentation

Mentor and support more junior analysts by sharing analytics best practices

Required

2+ year of demonstrated experience working with healthcare claims data, including strong familiarity with coding concepts (CPT/HCPCS, DRG, ICD-10)

3–5 years of professional experience in a data or analytics role

Understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, including relationships between providers, payors, government agencies, and patients

Fluency in SQL for efficient data aggregation and analysis of large datasets; Strong skills in Excel

Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Power Bi)

Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake and Databricks

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
