Responsibilities
Develop clear, concise business and Agile software requirements
Translate operational needs into functional and technical requirements
Present solution options aligned to business needs
Prepare proposals, client and vendor contracts, and high-level documentation
Create financial spreadsheets, charts, functional documentation, and system artifacts
Collect and analyze departmental data to support program outcomes and reporting
Define and track business metrics to evaluate departmental performance and outcomes
Develop training materials and deliver training for internal and external users as needed
Coordinate with IT and delivery teams on project releases following testing and signoff
Work effectively in a sprint-based Agile environment with shared IT resources across multiple initiatives
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience working in Agile teams, capturing business requirements, and translating them into Agile software requirements
Highly organized, self-motivated, and dependable with strong documentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization and with external partners
Proven ability to execute tasks end-to-end, multitask, and operate in a fast-paced environment
Ability to improve standardized processes and service delivery to support organizational and customer goals
Working knowledge of SQL Server to analyze data for requirements gathering and functional testing
Familiarity with sprint processes; project management experience is a strong plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a SaaS Software or Business/Product Analyst
Preferred
Insurance and claims industry experience preferred
Scrum expertise; certification is a plus
