CNC Programmer Machinist - 4 axis Milling and Turning
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate a Doosan Puma 2600YII CNC lathe with live tooling (Fanuc 0i-Plus control)
Program, set up, and operate a SMEC SL 2500BY CNC lathe with live tooling (Fanuc 0i-Plus control)
Produce tight-tolerance parts from blueprints and technical drawings using GD&T principles
Perform thorough in-process and final part inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision instruments
Troubleshoot and optimize programs, tooling, and setups for maximum efficiency and accuracy
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience programming and operating CNC lathes
Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls and G-code programming
Familiarity with live tooling and multi-axis turning operations
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and use precision measuring tools
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
Preferred
Experience with Micro Dynamics Tera60V CNC Milling Center
Experience with Micro Dynamics Tera50V CNC Milling Center
Experience with 4th-axis milling and Turning
Experience with Mitsubishi M830W control
Experience with EDM Wire
Capable of full programming, setup, and operation
Experience with Leadwell MCV-2000i Milling Center
Experience with Fanuc control
Experience with CAT40/ CAT50 tooling
Experience with large-format milling setups and operations
