Responsibilities
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair wiring/cables, connections, distribution/instrument panels, and circuits
Install, adjust, inspect, and maintain electric motors and equipment
Replace bearings and motor or generator parts, and perform emergency generator testing
Operate equipment and machines
Contact vendors and suppliers concerning equipment, materials, and parts
Qualification
Required
Current Washington State EL01 license
One year of experience as a journey-level certified electrician
Preferred
Knowledge of standard practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the electrical trade; electrical codes; and safety precautions
Ability to work from blueprints, plans, and sketches
Ability to estimate materials and time needed to complete jobs
