FIRST Services Program Coordinator

Criminal Justice Ministry (CJM) is seeking a First Services Program Manager to lead a critical access-to-care program serving justice-involved individuals and families across the St. Louis region. This role involves direct client engagement, program administration, volunteer coordination, and community partnership development to connect clients with essential resources.

Responsibilities

Meet with referred clients to assess and address immediate needs
Support Foundations First clients in establishing care with external providers
Schedule appointments, provide follow-up support, and offer transportation as needed
Conduct home visits for appointment coordination and ongoing support
Lead and coordinate the Hope in Motion bus trip program, working with families, volunteers, transportation providers, and the Department of Corrections
Document all services and outcomes in Apricot/Bonterra
Track program metrics and support reporting for leadership and funders
Ensure compliance with CJM policies and program guidelines
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise volunteers supporting First Services
Provide ongoing support and recognition to promote volunteer engagement and retention
Build and maintain relationships with medical, dental, behavioral health, and substance use providers
Represent CJM at community events and partner meetings
Promote access to First Services throughout the St. Louis area

Required

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Criminal Justice, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination, case management, or human services
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Apricot/Bonterra experience preferred
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to transport clients

Preferred

Experience working with justice-involved individuals
Volunteer coordination experience a plus
